Hey! Thanks for checking out the website for my RO server, bot party! To get started, head over to the Quickstart Guide and get our clientinfo.xml and a generic client. If you've played on private RO servers before, you're welcome to use any client that you are familiar with.
What is the point of bot party!?
This server was started as a personal project for a nostalgia trip and to explore the content of the game as it was designed; at low rates. Being an MMO, however, it was not designed to be played alone. The main intention is for the player to be followed by a party of bots to support the experience of late-game content. You could have your party of bots follow you to go MVPing or just let them farm items. The server is PK enabled to make botting more interesting. Imagine making a bot that specifically hunts other bots.
What are the special features of this server!?
As you can see, the server and website are still in its infancy. I will invest more time into them if I get players but as it stands, it's currently a personal project.
If this server picks up more players, I intend to add content that rewards PVP gameplay between bots but even in its current state, it's still fun to wake up in the morning and look at all the garbage your bot looted.
