Quickstart Guide
Follow this guide to start playing on bot party! Follow the guide half way if you just want to play normally or all the way to start botting.
- Create an account.
- Download and extract Froggo Rö Folder (mirror) client. I prefer to use this as it already includes the data files and translation patches.
- Overwrite fROggo-folder-main/data/clientinfo.xml with my clientinfo.xml (Right click > Save as, or view as text).
- Run FroggoClient.exe to start playing!
- It will ask you to run as admin. This is normal for all RO clients as settings are saved to registry.
- If you're encountering errors, check that you have installed both Visual C++ Redistributables and DirectX Runtime.
- Optional: You can disable the packet inspector by removing or renaming fROggo-folder-main/PacketViewer.mix
Continue following this guide to start botting (on Windows):
- Download and extract openkore from github (direct link).
- Overwrite openkore-master/tables/servers.txt with our servers.txt.
- Edit openkore-master/control/config.txt and set the value of XKore to 3.
- Download 2022-04-06_Ragexe_1648707856_patched.zip and extract it to your fROggo-folder-main directory. This is needed as FroggoClient.exe does not allow server selection.
- Run openkore-master/start.exe then fROggo-folder-main/2022-04-06_Ragexe_1648707856_patched.exe. Select localhost:6901 and log in normally.
This will get you up and running with the most basic setup. Setting XKore to 3 allows openkore to act as a proxy so you can see what your bot is doing. Eventually when you are running multiple bots, you will run the console only without the RO client, in which case the XKore value should be unset. Hit me up on Discord if you need further help.
